To start the process for an orthopaedic shoe we need a last sent to us which we will then scan with a 3D scanner. These scans will then be edited to remove any bumps or other errors in the scan. With the scan all smooth it’s ready to be used in the CAD system.
Making a copy
The 3D scan is then imported into a module to assign an inside, outside and bottom to the scan. This is used to make a flat 2D flattening in the CAD system. With the 2D flattening ready, we can begin with the development of the model on that particular scan.
For the development of the patterns we kindly direct you to the 2D design tab. Furthermore, we also have an external cutting service for cutting out the patterns.
Finally, we are also working with external stitching services.
